Movie Banner Canvas Balloon Sleeve Dress

Who doesn't love movies and movie magic? Movie posters are colorful, beautiful and eye-catching, but when the movie is no longer playing in theaters, large movie banners are no longer needed. The balloon-sleeved dress is made from these banners, collected from local art house cinemas in Copenhagen. The dress can be made from a single banner or several different banners combined to form a wearable textile collage of films. When ordering, the dress is made taking into account your color preferences. Each dress is unique and one of a kind.

Materials :

Movie banners are made of different synthetic materials, mainly polyester. It is not possible to obtain the specific composition of the fabrics used as they are all second-hand items. The banners are collected from local cinemas in Copenhagen and would otherwise have been discarded. Instead, they are transformed into beautiful clothes that you can wear. For the balloon sleeves and the ribbons, various second-hand textiles are used in combination with the film banners.
